Kenny Chesney is naming his 2013 tour after his fans. No Shoes Nation is the name of his next trek, which will hit almost 50 cities, including 17 stadium shows. No Shoes Nation is also what the country superstar plans to call his adoring fans from now on.

"We've been looking for ways to give my fanbase a name," he explained this morning during the big announcement on his No Shoes Radio. "Everybody has built No Shoes Nation. What we've created on the road is something so special -- the fans, myself, the band, crew... Their love for the music is constant; they are so passionate about the music."

Eric Church has scored an opening slot on the No Shoes Nation Tour, presented by Corona Light. "I think he's a real artist," Kenny says of his decision to invite the "Springsteen" singer on the road. "I met him with my trainer years ago in the gym. He had just gotten to town. To see his progression, to see the songwriter and artist he's becoming, he totally deserves that spot on our stadium tour. He's a great fit for what we do out there."

Eli Young Band has ACM Awards voters to thank for their opening slot on the No Shoes Nation Tour. "I didn't know much about them," Kenny admits, "but their song 'Crazy Girl' beat 'You and Tequila' (Kenny's duet with Grace Potter) for Song of the Year ... and I went, 'Wait a minute!' So I went and listened to their record and was really impressed."

Kasey Musgraves is another artist whose record perked Kenny's ears, so much so that he invited her on the road. "My manager Clint told me about this girl," the tour boss explains. "She's got a great record ... one of the freshest, most authentic female singer/songwriters I've heard in a while."

Zac Brown Band, who toured with Kenny in the summer of 2011, will join him again on select dates in 2013. (See below.)

The No Shoes Radio Tour marks 20 years of touring for Kenny, who is consistently ranked among the top-selling touring acts in all genres every time he gasses up the tour bus. The Tennessee native has played a record 85 stadium shows in his career, and will push that number over 100 after this next tour.
