Kellie Pickler is the first artist participating in the Ram Truck 'Road to the Ram Jam,' a country music series that begins with an invitation-only concert in Nashville on Dec. 29. In doing so, the '100 Proof' singer gets a one-year lease on a 2012 Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn truck.

"The first thing I learned to drive was my grandpa's truck, so I'm definitely a truck girl," says Kellie. "I'm excited to be part of Ram Truck's Road to the Ram Jam. We're going to have a lot of fun on that 'Road' -- me and my Laramie. I'm also excited that we will be auctioning off my Ram truck at the end of the year to benefit our veterans in need."

Fans can also register here to win a free download of the 'American Idol' alumna's hit single, 'Tough,' along with a trip for two to the Ram Jam concert. While you're there, you can also check out exclusive video of Kellie as she discusses her military appreciation and why she chose the USO as the recipient of her truck auction, along with a chat about her new album, '100 Proof.'

The album, Kellie tells The Boot, is one she made for herself, no one else. "I didn't do this record for what I think people are gonna like," she reveals. "The song, 'Where's Tammy Wynette' almost didn't make it on there because this generation didn't grow up on Tammy Wynette. But after they hear it -- the ones that say, "Who's Tammy Wynette?" -- I hope they go and look her up. That's my goal with this song: I want this generation to know her and appreciate her style of music like I do."

So far, it looks like they are embracing that style, as the album debuted at No. 2 on Billboard's Country Albums chart, behind Tim McGraw's 'Emotional Traffic.'

As for the year-end Ram Jam concert, the four additional artists will be announced in March, May, June and August, respectively.
