Kellie Pickler Will Be Ellen’s CMA Red Carpet Reporter

She's been a frequent guest on the 'Ellen DeGeneres Show,' and now Kellie Pickler has a new job working for Ellen! Well, at least for one night, as the country singer will work as a special correspondent for Ellen on country music's biggest night.

"Kellie is going to be reporting live from the red carpet at the CMAs," Ellen announced over the weekend. Kellie, who says appearing on the 'Ellen DeGeneres Show' is a "dream come true," most recently paid a visit to Ellen back in October, where another dream came true: Ellen secretly arranged a meeting between Kellie and her No. 1 celebrity crush, Clint Eastwood, on the show.

"I'm a huge Kellie Pickler fan," Ellen gushes (quote via CMIL). "She's adorable. She's got a personality ... You could just see there was something special about her."

This won't be Kellie's first gig on the other side of the red carpet microphone. She hosted CMT's red carpet show at the 2006 Country Music Association Awards and reported for 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno' live from the 2006 MTV Video Music Awards. She also acted as a special Super Bowl correspondent for 'The Tonight Show' back in 2008.

The CMA Awards air live from Nashville this Wednesday, November 10 at 8:00 PM ET on ABC. Kellie's 'Ellen' segment from the red carpet will air later this week. Click here for local listings.
