Talk about being fan-friendly! Jimmy Wayne opened his heart and his wallet to some fans who went through a tough time getting to his show in Bay City, Mich. last week.

Mlive.com reports that Wayne was told about three fans from Escanaba, Mich. whose car broke down on their way to his concert. A few blocks away from the venue, their car's tie-rod blew out, and they were told it would take a full day to get it fixed -- meaning they'd have to stay overnight in a hotel.

"He heard their story and immediately offered to pay for their repairs," reports WKCQ's Barb Sheltraw, who escorted the fans backstage to meet Wayne. "They told him no, but he insisted on either picking up the repairs or the hotel ... It was just so sweet."
