Jerrod NiemannJerrod Niemann has always been a fan of the 4th of July, especially as a child. And as an adult, his love for the holiday has matured past hot dogs and fireworks.

"As a kid, I loved the 4th of July because I could shoot roman candles at my siblings," he joked with Country Music Is Love. "But then you finally understand what it stands for and you're old enough to grasp that the only reason you can shoot roman candles at your siblings is because there's people out there that are sacrificing their lives and allow all of us to continue to be free and do the stuff we love."

The flagship artist on Brad Paisley's new Sea Gayle label, Jerrod has already celebrated chart success. His first single, 'Lover Lover,' off his debut CD, 'Judge Jerrod & the Hung Jury,' soared all the way into the top ten. His album will hit shelves on July 13. Meanwhile, the singer will join Lee Brice and Josh Thompson for a special Independence Day concert in Frederick, Md. He will also perform with Lee, along with Matt Stilwell and Joanna Smith, at the annual Aquapalooza event, headlined by his boss Brad, on July 10 at Lake Travis, near Austin, Texas.
