Jennifer Nettles kicked off her role as host of the CMA Country Christmas with a festive tune to get everyone in the holiday spirit.

Dressed in a sexy red number -- a sharp departure from last year, when Nettles was about  to give birth to her new son, Magnus Hamilton Miller -- Nettles took over the stage, singing 'That's What Christmas Means to Me.' She was joined by several dancers on stage, as well as several background vocalists.

Nettles has plenty to celebrate this year. The one-half of the award-winning duo, Sugarland, is getting ready to release her first solo album, 'That Girl' early next year. The album's title track, which is the debut single, is already climbing the charts. The songstress will kick off the new year with a handful of shows. See a list of dates here.
