Jennifer Nettles Plots Fall 2015 Tour

Jennifer Nettles' fans are going to have a sweet -- dare we say "Sugar"-filled? -- fall. The Grammy-nominated star has announced her 2015 Playing With Fire Tour.

Nettles will kick off the trek on Oct. 23 in Atlanta, Ga. The 20-city tour will go through Melbourne, Fla.; Windsor, Ontario, Canada; Dallas, Texas; Reno, Nev., and many other areas; a complete list of dates is below. Brandy Clark and Ryan Kinder will open for Nettles.

This tour news comes on the heels of other big changes for the singer: She announced her departure from Universal Music Group at the beginning of August and revealed her new label home, Big Machine Label Group, earlier this week.

“This is somewhat full-circle, as I was at UMG Nashville as SVP/promo when then-president Luke Lewis presented a disc of ‘this new band we’ve signed -- pick a single,’” says Scott Borchetta, president and CEO of BMLG. “I was floored with Sugarland then, and I’m floored with all things Jennifer now. She’s simply one of the best female voices to ever grace country music, and I can’t wait for the world to hear her new music. Get. Ready.”

Adds Nettles, “I am so thrilled and honored to join the Big Machine family. They are truly the best in the business. I loved working with Scott years ago, in the beginning of my career, and have been waiting for the right opportunity to get to work with him again! I’m so happy that day has arrived, and I look forward to our exciting new adventures to come.”

Nettles will release a new single in October and has set her next solo album release for early 2016.

Fan pre-sales for the 2015 Playing With Fire Tour will begin on Sept. 2, followed by a Ticketmaster pre-sale on Sept. 3. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Sept. 4. Nettles' website has more ticket information.
