Jennifer Nettles is always one busy lady during the CMA Country Christmas event. Not only did she host Thursday night's (Dec. 3) festive TV special, she also performed four separate times throughout the two-hour show.

The former Sugarland member kicked the evening off with a sparkly, high-kick-filled rendition of "Man With the Bag" and "Jingle Bell Rock," the latter accompanied by Pentatonix. Clearly, she learned a thing or two during her time in Chicago on Broadway!

Later in the evening, Nettles delivered the sentimental "Celebrate Me Home," joined by a stunning choir near the end of the tune. The song, first made famous by Kenny Loggins, is featured on LeAnn Rimes' newest holiday album, Today Is Christmas. Nettles noted that the track makes her think of both her own hometown and "all of the people out there in the world tonight wishing they could be home."

To close out the 2015 CMA Country Christmas special, Nettles sang two songs back to back. The first was "Silent Night," during which violinist Lindsey Stirling also played. The two stood on a darkened stage, an image of snow falling in the background, and kept their performance simple. After all, the classic hymn needs nothing extra to be poignant and beautiful.

Brian Setzer then joined Nettles onstage to end the evening with "Yabba Dabba Yueltide," a version of the famous Flintstones theme song featuring Christmas-themed lyrics. Nettles and Santa Claus ventured through the crowd as Setzer and the band -- dressed in leopard-print jackets -- played the instantly recognizable tune.

The 2015 CMA Country Christmas special featured a total of 20 performances packed into the two-hour event. Charles Kelley, Dan + Shay and Mickey Guyton were among the other artists who participated.
