Jason Aldean's seventh annual Concert for the Cure took place in Dallas on Saturday (Oct. 27), and raised an impressive $509,125 to help support the local Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure in the fight against breast cancer. More than 20,000 fans packed the Gexa Energy Pavilion for the final date of the country superstar's My Kinda Party 2012 tour.

Jason hosted the first Concert for the Cure in 2006. In 2004, he lost one of his closest friends to breast cancer when she was just 29 years old. "The day she passed away, my family decided that we would always do something to carry on her memory and to help in the fight," he said last year of his late friend, Melissa. "Everybody I know has been touched by it; they say a woman dies every 69 seconds from [breast cancer]."

Jason's Concert for the Cure in 2011 in Roanoke, Va., raised $315,000 for Susan G. Komen. In addition to putting the finishing touches on the singer's 2012 tour, this year's Concert for the Cure closes out breast cancer awareness month, which occurs each October.

The stage is now set for Jason's 2013 Night Train trek, the first three dates of which were recently announced. When tickets for the CMA Entertainer of the Year nominee's July 13 date at Boston's Fenway Park went on sale last week, they were snapped up in just seven minutes.

Jason, who is the first country artist to headline the venue, will be joined by Miranda Lambert, Jake Owen and Thomas Rhett at Fenway. Tickets for Jason's University of Georgia show on April 13 at Sanford Stadium, which will include Jake Owen instead of Miranda, go on sale Friday (Nov. 2) at 10:00 AM ET. The singer plays Wrigley Field, joined by Kelly Clarkson, on July 20. Those tickets will go on sale Saturday (Nov. 3) at 10:00 AM. Get more info here.
