Jason Aldean and his wife Jessica presented a united front on "CBS This Morning" today (Nov. 15), during an interview regarding the singer's annual Concert for the Cure. While there to discuss this year's profits from the October show -- which brought in more than $500,000, the most to date -- the pair couldn't avoid questions about the state of their marriage, following Jason's "inappropriate" interaction with former "American Idol" contestant Brittany Kerr in September. (Watch the interview below.)

"I would say you go ask any couple that's been married 30, 40, 50 years," Jason began, "I guarantee you it hadn't ..."

"I would love to hear their story," his wife of 11 years interjected.

"It hasn't always been roses," Jason finished.

Overall, though, the couple appears to be on the mend.

"I think we're fine," the "Take a Little Ride" singer admitted. "Any time you go through anything like that, it's tough. We've been together for a long time, and been through a lot of things together. Those are things that most people get to deal with in private, we didn't have the luxury of doing that."

The pair were pleased to talk about this year's donation to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, in honor of their friend, Melissa Morstad, who died from breast cancer eight years ago.

"She was 28 (when she was diagnosed) and had three kids," recalls Jessica, who organizes the annual benefit concert. "She was actually married to my cousin, which is how Jason and I met. And here she is leaving three little girls, and so young, 29 years old when she died."

Jason will have some time at home with his wife and two daughters, Keeley and Kendyl, before heading out on his Night Train tour in February. See a list of announced tour stops here. Find out how you can help the fight against breast cancer here.
