Terry Bradshaw has sold his massive rural estate in Oklahoma, and pictures show a stunning home that's fit for a sports and broadcasting legend.
The NFL legend and sportscaster listed his 8-bedroom, 8,600-square-foot estate in late 2022 for $22.5 million. Online property sites show that Bradshaw received his full asking price in a deal that closed in November of 2023.
Bradshaw's 744-acre former ranch in the rural community of Thackerville, Okla., is situated along the Red River, with miles of frontage property that the Corps of Engineers manages.
The palatial main house boasts four stone fireplaces, wood and tile flooring and wood paneling. A 1,000-square-foot outdoor patio area also features a full kitchen, bar, fireplace, hot sauna and fire pit.
The rural estate also includes:
- A 12-stall stallion barn.
- A 20-stall show barn.
- A 20-stall weaning barn.
- A 50-stall mare barn.
The mare barn came with an office, a laboratory and a breeding facility. The property also features an office with full kitchen, a show barn for swine and bays for farm equipment, and there are trails throughout the rural property.
Bradshaw shot to sports superstardom as a four-time Super Bowl winner. He's also a two-time Super Bowl MVP, Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee and the first NFL player ever honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The 75-year-old former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback has made his living as a sports commentator in the years since he retired from football, and he and his family also appeared in the reality show The Bradshaw Bunch on E!, which took place at the ranch in Oklahoma.
Bradshaw maintained the property as a working quarter horse ranch. According to the Oklahoman, the new owners are re-branding the operation as a horse breeding company called Red River Equine.
