Jason Aldean’s Son Memphis Was Unimpressed by His Sold-Out Show [Watch]
Jason Aldean might be selling out amphitheaters across the country on his 2024 Highway Desperado Tour, but to his young children Memphis and Navy, that's nothing special.
The singer's family -- also including his wife Brittany -- frequently join him on the road, and they've seen enough shows to not get too excited about all the bright lights and cheering fans. In fact, during Aldean's most recent concert, Memphis wasn't paying attention to the music at all -- even though he was sitting sidestage.
Brittany shared video of the hilarious moment, zooming in on the six-year-old boy to show wearing ear-protecting headphones and flipping through a book. It's not just any book: Memphis actually authored it himself.
"When your dad is playing a sold-out show but you just wrote a book," Brittany writes in the caption of her post, which was likely filmed during Aldean's Friday night (Sept. 6) stop in Nampa, Ida.
Memphis' younger sister, five-year-old Navy, is sitting beside him in the video, and she seems a little more engaged with the show. At one point, she appears to wave to someone off-camera, either a family friend, crew member or fan in the crowd.
Aldean's family has featured prominently on his current tour: During his Saturday (Sept. 7) concert in Salt Lake City, Utah, he brought Brittany onstage during his performance of his hit love ballad "You Make it Easy."
Fan-filmed video shows Brittany shyly waving to the crowd and covering her face with happy nerves, before the couple slow dance as Aldean sings the song.
Aldean's Highway Desperado Tour will continue on for the rest of the month, wrapping up on Oct. 5 with a stop in his hometown, Macon, Ga.
