Dierks Bentley to Tour Overseas

Dierks Bentley will pack his bags for a trip around the world this summer. The country crooner is extending his tour to England, Ireland, Norway, France and even Japan. That's in addition to headlining several shows in the U.S. and Canada.

"It definitely feels like we are putting some serious miles on the bus this
summer," Bentley tells Dial-Global. "We are always looking for new places to play, and adding Europe and some of our own festival dates to the calendar puts us over the top for sure."

Bentley is also set to play the Lollapalooza festival in Chicago -- an event that rarely includes country stars. But it won't be the first time that he's been challenged as the odd man out.

"We played Bonnaroo last year, and honestly, we didn't know if anyone would even show up to see our set. But we were pleasantly surprised to have a huge crowd who were genuinely into the music," Bentley explains. "When the Lollapalooza offer came in, it seemed like another opportunity to go out as the underdog and try to win over some new fans."
