From actors to accolade, country music made the rounds this week.

Loretta Lynn celebrated her 50th Grand Ole Opry anniversary. Hunter Hayes started the week by receiving a trophy onstage at the Nashville stop of Carrie Underwood's Blown Away tour. Steve Martin performed at the International Bluegrass Music Awards. And Josh Turnerhad a chance meeting with baseball heroes Phil Niekro and Tim Wakefield.
