Last weekend, rock fans descended upon the desert in Indio, Calif., for the annual Coachella music festival, featuring Paul McCartney, The Killers and dozens of other acts. This weekend, it's country music's turn with the star-studded Stagecoach Festival set for this Saturday and Sunday, April 25-26.

The impressive lineup of artists performing at the third annual festival includes headliners Kenny Chesney, Reba McEntire, Kid Rock and Brad Paisley. Also on the bill: Little Big Town, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Darius Rucker, Zac Brown Band, Randy Houser, Danielle Peck, Poco, Charlie Daniels Band and Chris Cagle.

In addition to several folk and Americana acts including The Duhks and Dale Watson, a number of bluegrass legends will hit the stage at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, including Earl Scruggs, Ricky Skaggs, Ralph Stanley, Doyle Lawson and the Peter Rowan Bluegrass Band. Organizers have also cooked up what has become one of the premier BBQ competitions in the country each year.

In just three years, Stagecoach has earned a reputation as one of the country's most critically acclaimed music festivals. More information is available at the official Stagecoach Festival website.
