Brantley Gilbert and Jana Kramer Split

Brantley Gilbert and Jana Kramer have split. The country singers, who got engaged on Gilbert's 28th birthday in January, have decided to go their separate ways.

"They are both so busy right now," an unidentified source tells People. "They are both on the road and have to spend a lot of time apart, which isn't ideal for any couple, let alone a couple trying to plan a wedding."

Ironically, both of the singers were up for Best New Artist at the ACM Awards in April. Florida Georgia Line took home the award.

The split appears to be amicable. "There was no foul play involved, it's nothing like that," the source adds. "They were happy together but know what's best."

A representative at Gilbert's label confirmed the news to Country Weekly.

Kramer, formerly of TV's 'One Tree Hill,' was previously married to Michael Gambino in 2004, and briefly to actor Johnathon Schaech in 2010.
