Blake Shelton embarks on his first-ever headlining tour tonight, October 13, at Denver's Ogden Theatre. The six-date All About Tonight tour, named for Blake's No.1 single, makes its West Coast run through the end of this month.

"I am extremely excited about this tour," Blake says. "To go out and know that the crowd is there for you every night, that is one heck of a feeling."

Getting to call the shots on your own tour has to be satisfying, what does Blake consider to be the best part? "I get to see my fans in cities I haven't performed in for a while like Los Angeles," he explains. "Hell, I'm just glad they're letting a hillbilly like me back in town [laughs]."

In addition, newcomer Joanna Smith joins Blake for the Denver show October 14 and the Los Angeles stop October 20, according to the venues' websites.

Blake's got a lot on his plate these days; he'll officially be inducted into the Grand Ole Opry October 23, he's nominated for four CMA awards including Male Vocalist of the Year and his first greatest hits release, 'Loaded: The Best of Blake Shelton,' hits stores November 9.

"I love the name of this release because I get to tell everyone, 'Come on and get Loaded,'" Blake says with a laugh. "This release pretty much sums up all the hard work from the past ten years, and it's literally loaded with all the music that I've worked on and I'm incredibly proud of. I hope fans are excited about this as much as I am. I want everyone to get loaded, with my album, of course."
