Bayou Country Superfest Features Kenny Chesney

All that talk about Kenny Chesney taking time off next year sure didn't last long! And while he sticking to the plan to not mount a tour of his own, Kenny is among the performers scheduled for the inaugural Bayou Country Superfest on Memorial Day, May 30, 2010, at LSU's Tiger Stadium.

Other performers on the bill include Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, Kellie Pickler, Jason Aldean, Jake Owen, Justin Moore, Gloriana and David Nail. Brooks & Dunn will also take the stage as part of their farewell tour.

"I can't imagine a year not rocking the fans ... not seeing those faces or hearing my songs sung back to me," says Kenny. "That is where I'm the most alive, and those people are such a big part of who I am and why I do this. To me, not being out there would be the worst thing I could imagine."

Kenny will also be among the performers at BamaJam in Enterprise, Al., a month later. Bayou Country Superfest follows hot on the heels of the Indio, Calif., Stagecoach Festival to be headlined by Keith Urban in April.
