Amos Lee will perform the gig of a lifetime this July 4, as the singer has been personally invited by President Barack Obama to perform at the White House. Amos joins Train as the two artists tapped for the third annual Salute to the Military USO Concert, which hosts 1,200 troops and military families on Independence Day.

"I'm honored and excited to be invited to the South Lawn to celebrate the nation's independence, and to give thanks to the men and women who have served our country," says Amos.

This year's event, which celebrates the USO's 70th anniversary, will be broadcast live online at www.whitehouse.gov, starting at 8:15 PM ET on Monday. Concertgoers will be treated to a barbeque, games and a pre-show by 'The President's Own' U.S. Marine Band. After Amos and Train's performance, viewers both in person and online will be able to see the legendary national capital fireworks display.

After his Washington, D.C. performance, Amos hits the road on the Dave Matthews Band Caravan, making a stop in Chicago on July 8. He'll perform 'Windows Are Rolled Down,' the lead single from his critically-acclaimed album 'Mission Bell,' on the 'Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson' on July 21.
