Smithville, Tenn., police brought in the big guns for their "lip sync challenge" video. The department recruited two of the town's famous locals, country artists Aaron Tippin and John Anderson, to help out with the viral internet phenomenon, part community outreach and part stress relief for the participating officers.

Tippin steps up first, helping the cops tackle his 1992 song "There Ain't Nothin' Wrong With the Radio." The country singer goes for a ride-along with an on-duty officer, who seems to be having problems with his radio -- but when Tippin takes a stab at solving the issue, of course, it works.

When Tippin and the officer arrive at their destination, they find Anderson blocking traffic with a wooden porch swing -- a nod to his song "Swingin'," which he then performs with some officers.

"It was such a thrill to be asked to be in the Smithville Police Department's video," Tippin says in a press release. "We had a blast filming it. We love our law enforcement and appreciate them so much. I'm ready to do a sequel!"

Smithville has been my home for the past 35 years, and some of these officers are second and third generation now. They do so much and don't often get recognized for their hard work and commitment to our community. I was proud to help out and hold up traffic on their behalf."

Smithville is a small town located in Middle Tennessee. It's about an hour and a half southeast of Nashville.
