A star-studded lineup is coming together for a once-in-a-lifetime concert in honor of one of country's biggest legends. Willie: Life & Songs of an American Outlaw will take place on Jan. 12, 2019 at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena and be filmed for broadcast at a later date in 2019 on the A&E network.

Many of Willie Nelson's greatest hits will be performed by artists from across the musical spectrum. The country icon will be joined at the event by Alison Krauss, the Avett Brothers, George Strait, Jack Johnson, John Mellencamp, Kris Kristofferson, Lee Ann Womack, Lyle Lovett, Norah Jones and the Little Willies, Sheryl Crow, Susan Tedeschi & Derek Trucks and Vince Gill, as well as surprise collaborators and special guests. More artists will be announced at a later date.

The Willie: Life & Songs of an American Outlaw concert is being put on by Blackbird Presents, Mark Rothbaum and Keith Wortman. Tickets will go on sale on Nov. 12 via LiveNation.com, but Citi card holders have access to a pre-sale on Nov. 11.

"Willie and his songs mean everything to music artists and fans alike. Like Willie, they have inspired us to remain true to ourselves in every possible way," Blackbird Presents CEO Keith Wortman says in a press release. "This incredible lineup of artists on this show is a testament to that."
