William Michael Morgan is the proud father to one-year-old daughter Presley. Although his career doesn't allow him to spend as much time with her as he would like, the singer does intend to spoil his baby girl a little extra this holiday season.

"It’s gonna be crazy," Morgan shared with The Boot and other reporters at a recent media event. "I’m excited to spend a little time with her at Christmas. My whole family, I’m excited to spend some time with -- slow down a little bit."

However, there'll still be work to do during Morgan's downtime: "As much as I’m promoting my new single, "Vinyl" ... I’m also working on a new record as we speak," Morgan shares, "writing a whole bunch and trying to get some songs."

Morgan's freshman album, Vinyl, was, appropriately, released on vinyl, in addition to streaming and CD formats. For Morgan, who says his all-time favorite vinyl record is Willie Nelson's Stardust, that decision was a way for him to re-live some of his favorite childhood memories with today's current music.

"I grew up with vinyl. My great-great grandmother left us a big collection of Frank Sinatra and Elvis Presley and [Merle] Haggard and [George] Jones, so I grew up on that stuff," Morgan shares. "For me to have a song called "Vinyl," with a message that I really, truly stand behind and believe 100 percent, is awesome."

Vinyl is available for purchase, in all forms, on Amazon.
