As artists continue to speak out on Zac Brown's comments disparaging contemporary country music, and specifically Luke Bryan, Will Hoge is adding his thoughts into the mix.

The singer-songwriter took to Twitter, offering what could possibly be the most definitive response to the controversy.

Good point, indeed.

The tweet was apparently fueled by Brown's remarks to Vancouver's 93.7 JRfm.  “If I hear one more tailgate in the moonlight, daisy duke song, I’m gonna throw up," he said. "There’s songs out there on the radio right now that make me ashamed to be even in the same format as some other artists.”

Brown went on to criticize Bryan's recent single, 'That's My Kind of Night.'

“I love Luke Bryan, and he’s had some great songs, but this new song is the worst song I’ve ever heard,” he added. “I see it being giant commercially, successful within what is called country music these days, but I also feel like that the people deserve something better than that.”

Several artists have been quick to jump to Bryan's defense, including Jason Aldean, Justin Moore and Tyler Farr. Bryan has not commented on the incident.

Country music fans clearly disagree with Brown's assessment of Bryan's song. 'That's My Kind of Night' became a No. 1 hit on both the country and the iTunes charts. Download the song here.
