Molly Tuttle may already be known as an ace guitarist and promising singer-songwriter within the bluegrass community, but the up-and-comer is poised to enter the mainstream as an artist in her own right with her debut full-length album. When You're Ready is due out on April 5, and follows follows her 2017 EP, Rise.

In the years since Tuttle, a California native, moved to Nashville, she has been busy writing and collaborating with a host of talented musical friends. Now, she says that immersing herself in that creative environment has been paying off: Her new album is heavily informed by the time she has spent in Music City, and by the people she has worked with along the way.

"It'll be my first full-length [album]. It's all music I've written since moving to Nashville," Tuttle explained to The Boot in the fall of 2018. "A lot of it is co-writes, and some of it I also wrote on my own. But that's really what's been on my mind right now."

While Tuttle's music will likely always be informed by the bluegrass community that inspires and embraces her, her forthcoming album will take cues from a wide variety of musical backgrounds and inspirations, expanding her wheelhouse to include elements of folk, country and Americana music.
