With a modern-day country sound infused with pop and rock, Dylan Schneider is a young artist worth getting to know. His most recent EP, 2016's 17, took its title from the country singer's age at the time (he's 18 now), but its six tracks reveal a performer with talent well beyond his years.

He's now signed to Interscope Records, but before that, Schneider was making a name for himself online, earning upwards of 700,000 followers on Facebook. What started out as cover videos posted to YouTube led to the Indiana native making the trek to Nashville to record songs for 17 and his debut EP, Wannabe.

“I would say it’s definitely a newer sound of country music," Schneider tells Billboard. "It’s not exactly too pop or too country. It’s definitely got a rock element, and I think that people can have a good time listening to it. I think it’s just fun sounding music. That’s what it is to me."

Schneider's most recent single, "No Problem," dropped in late 2017. Readers can find his music on iTunes, or can head over to Schneider's official website for more information and tour dates. Flip through the gallery below to learn more about the rising star.
