Whitney Rose Reveals String of Summer Tour Dates

Whitney Rose just moved to Austin, Texas, in January, but she's already hitting the road again. The singer-songwriter will be on a short, but busy, North American tour in late July and throughout August.

Rose will kick things off in her new hometown, at the Continental Club, and will then criss-cross the United States, with a few stops up in Canada as well. A total of 24 shows are scheduled before things wrap up on Aug. 27 at the Globe Theatre in Bertram, Texas; a complete list of dates is below.

Rose's tour-opening show at the Continental Club will likely feel familiar to the rising artist: Since relocating to Austin, she's been playing at the venue in a weekly residency. She's also made some pretty cool new friends.

“I had this feeling that I could really LOVE Austin, so I took my chances, despite never even having visited before. Luckily, I was right," Rose admits in a press release. "Fast forward a few months, and I'm in the studio with Merle Haggard’s guitar player, Johnny Cash’s piano player and Willie Nelson’s bass player ... I'm still processing that one. Not to mention my new band, who have helped me to build up a great Thursday residency at the Continental Club, which has become my Austin home base."
