Vince Gill returned last week to the place where he made his first public performance at age seven. The country legend visited the Cleveland Arts and Science Specialty School in Oklahoma City for his 'Back in Class' concert. He raised almost $100,000 at the charity event to help renovate the school's auditorium.

"The real beauty of this event is that this is the first place I played guitar and sang in front of anybody my whole life," Vince told the sold-out crowd. "Even though it is nice to have a night to honor me, I'm coming home to do something for someone else and make it more than just about me."

But, the school made the night about Gill, announcing the renaming of the building to The Vince Gill Auditorium.
