Remember that fateful day a decade and a half ago when Garth Brooks announced that he was retiring? Man, are we glad that didn't last! Thankfully, the iconic country artist came back to the genre ... and his return has been pretty epic.

Of course, Brooks' 2016 concert at the Ryman Auditorium is one of his most unforgettable post-comeback moments; after all, it was the very first time the "Friends in Low Places" singer performed a full show at the historic Nashville venue. And speaking of that classic from his No Fences album, Brooks had another unforgettable moment when he joined Justin Timberlake onstage to sing the tune during the pop star's 2014 show in Nashville. It was a moment that actually prompted Timberlake to collapse on the stage in utter disbelief!

Two moments with fans are also among the most unforgettable -- one with Special Olympian Nathan Putnam, whom Brooks first met in 2007, and the other with Theresa Shaw, a cancer survivor who caught Brooks' attention with a sign at a 2014 show. But no set of epic Brooks comeback moments would be complete without the woman he lovingly refers to as the Queen, so Trisha Yearwood makes an appearance in the above video twice. Readers can press play to check it all out.

Since announcing his comeback, Brooks has released two compilation albums and a new studio album, all while on a large World Tour, and launched his very own radio station on SiriusXM.

"My retiring days are over," said Brooks at a press conference for the station, noting that he'll either be performing until he dies or until we kick him off the stage -- and it's a good bet the latter will never happen.
