Tracy Lawrence has just released his first full production album in five years, and the singer spent some one-on-one time with his fans online Wednesday night (Aug. 21). Lawrence took over The Boot's Twitter account for an hour-long live chat in which he talked about the new release, and much more.

'Headlights, Taillights and Radios' is a creative reinvention for the singer, whose 22 Top 10 hits include ‘Time Marches On,’ ‘Find Out Who Your Friends Are,’ ‘Alibis’ and ‘Paint Me a Birmingham.’ He set out to make a more modern, edgier record than past efforts -- but it didn't happen overnight, as he revealed Wednesday night.

In response to another fan question, Lawrence revealed he and his wife's special song.

The singer also talked about his musical influences, from country to classic rock.

Other street week activities included a special performance at the Grand Ole Opry, and a Sounddrop event on Spotify. Lawrence is also sharing an exclusive album stream of 'Headlights, Taillights and Radios' with readers of The Boot through Aug. 27.
