Tim McGraw has released 'Southern Girl' as his new radio single. The country superstar announced the news in a press release Monday (June 24).

'Southern Girl' becomes the fourth single from McGraw's hit album 'Two Lanes of Freedom,' his first under his new deal with Big Machine. McGraw successfully sued to win his exit from his former deal with Curb after years of publicly battling with his label over creative and financial control.

'Two Lanes of Freedom' has already placed three hit singles; 'Truck Yeah,' 'One of Those Nights' and 'Highway Don't Care.' McGraw says choosing the new single was easy.

"At the beginning of the tour, we threw a lot of new songs into the set list, and that's always a risky thing when an album is so brand new," he states in a press release. "It didn't take a whole weekend out there before the girls were shouting at us to play 'Southern Girl.' The song has a really cool groove to it that just gets everyone moving and sets the right tone for a perfect summer night."
