Tim McGrawwill represent country music this 4th of July during NBC's coverage of the 2013 Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular. The 'Highway Don't Care' singer and Mariah Carey will co-headline the event, which promises more than 40,000 fireworks over New York's Hudson River.

Kenny Chesney and Katy Perry headlined in 2012. Other artists tied to this year's festivities include Usher, who has been asked to curate the overall design of the show. This year's title is 'It Begins With a Spark,' and 'American's Got Talent' host Nick Cannon (Carey's husband) will host the broadcast.

Tune in on July 4 from 8-10PM ET to watch the show. An encore of the second hour will immediately follow the two-hour broadcast. The gig comes on a rare day off for McGraw this summer. His Two Lanes of Freedom Tour schedule began in early May and runs through Aug. 4 in Camrose, Alb. Brantley Gilbert and Love and Theft are opening all dates on the road run.
