The Mavericks are going to have a busy 2015. The legendary group will release their new album, 'Mono,' on Feb. 17 and will embark on the Mono Mundo Tour two days later (Feb. 19). The record will be released on Valory Music, a division of Big Machine Label Group.

“You know, they did right by us,” lead singer Raul Malo says of Big Machine. “Heck, they let us make a record at this stage. I know people probably have a hard time imagining this, but it’s not the easiest thing to get these days, to be able to make records and have a record contract.”

Unfortunately, longtime band member Robert Renolds will not be joining the band for their tour. The bassist's wife, Angie Crabtree Reynolds, is battling cancer, and her husband has chosen to stay by her side during this difficult time.

"At this moment, Robert has chosen to take time to attend to personal matters," the band shares on their website. "We wish him nothing but the best. And we offer our full support to him and his family in this difficult time."

The Mavericks reunited to record 'In Time,' which was released last year, after an eight-year hiatus while they worked on solo projects. But the award-winning group says that it's thanks to their loyal fans that they have gotten back together,  stronger than ever.

"Everywhere we went, no matter where we went, people asked [when we were getting back together], and I always took it with a grain of salt," Malo tells The Boot. "I thought it would die down, I didn't really think it would continue, but no matter what language I sang in, or what part of the world, it was always, 'When are the Mavericks getting back together? What are the Mavericks doing?' ... So we really owe a lot of this to them and their love of the band."

The Mono Mundo Tour will play in the United States, as well as the U.K., Ireland, France Germany and the Netherlands. See an initial list of concert dates below.
