The Band Perry know how to entertain a crowd, and they proved it at the 2015 iHeartRadio Country Festival in Austin on Saturday (May 2) with a high-energy, super-funky cover of "Uptown Funk."

The Mark Ronson/Bruno Mars hit dominated the charts, spent 14 weeks at No. 1 and sold over 10 million copies when it was released last November, and if you think an East Tennessee-raised sibling group can't compete with the original version, think again. TBP brought funk to the Erwin Center, and it's one performance that fans can't stop talking about.

Kimberly, Neil and Reid Perry's cover was absolutely electrifying, and as always, lead singer Kimberly Perry turned up the heat with sassy rhythm while her brothers provided tight harmonies. Not only did they rock the song, they also had a whole lot of fun doing it.

The Band Perry will be headlining Country Jam 2015 in June. For those waiting for new music from TBP, the trio promises that a new single will be out soon.

“It’s close, close, close,” Kimberly Perry shares. “Depending on which one you ask, I say 75 percent there on the song. [My brother] says we’re 90 percent there … so 80 something? Eighty percent. We’re close.”

The list of other acts who performed at the second annual iHeartRadio Country Festival included Tim McGrawLittle Big TownDierks BentleyBrad PaisleyDarius RuckerRascal FlattsTyler FarrBrantley GilbertJustin Moore and Sam Hunt.
