The Band Perry have the coveted bragging rights of the CMA's top New Artist. The sibling trio beat out Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Thompson Square and Chris Young to take home the trophy at Wednesday's live Country Music Association Awards broadcast.

"We just wanted to thank everybody so much for the last few years that you've given my brothers and me," Kimberly Perry said from stage, flanked by Neil and Reid Perry. "We promise to keep working hard every day out on the road and here at home in Nashville to continue to earn this award. Thank you so much for the honor of tonight."

The Band Perry went into tonight's ceremony with four nominations, including Vocal Group, Single and Music Video of the Year. Earlier tonight, they won the trophy for Single of the Year, for their hit, 'If I Die Young.' The tune, which was penned by Kimberly Perry, also earned her another CMA Award this evening for Song of the Year.
