Fresh off the success of her multi-platinum selling album 'Red,' Taylor Swift reveals she is already working on her next record.

"We’ve got a lot,” she tells Billboard. “We got a lot already. It’s crazy. There are probably seven or eight that I know I want on the record, so that’s really ahead of schedule for me.”

The songstress, who is known for pushing the envelope with each of her albums, says this one will be no exception.

“I’m just stoked because it’s already evolved into a new sound, and that’s all I wanted," she explains. "I would have taken two years to make that happen, but it kind of happened naturally, so that's all I could really ask for."

While Swift might be plotting her next set of tunes, she insists she isn't stressing too much about the new project. “I don’t think too much about, ‘We need more down tempo. We need more up tempo,” she explains. “'We need more mid-tempo on the record.’ Because to me, that seems a little scientific. I just want to make an album that’s well-rounded emotionally.”

The 23-year-old isn't quite ready to put her current album away just yet. She is continuing on her worldwide Red tour with a series of shows in Australia this week, before she kicks off the 2014 leg of the trek with a series of shows in London, as well as a stop in Berlin.
