The list of stars who've played the annual Taste of Country Music Festival starts off notable and ends with legends. Tim McGraw and Keith Urban might not even be the most well-known acts to take the stage, but what keeps fans coming back is the atmosphere.

Country music's largest festival in the northeast has also featured Kenny Chesney, Willie Nelson, Brad Paisley and Hank Williams Jr. Taste of Country has been on hand to capture it all for five years, ever since Lady Antebellum headlined the inaugural fest in 2013. These 17 photos show why fans and artists ask to come back year after year after year.

Sam Hunt and Miranda Lambert will headline the fifth-annual Taste of Country Music Festival in 2017, June 9-11 in Hunter, N.Y. It's a two-hour drive from New York City that feels a world away, as you'll find comfort in the Catskills mountains. As the festival draws near, expect an in-depth look at all three headliners (including Jason Aldean) in a video series appropriately titled the Headliners. As you can see, these three have a lot to live up to!

Chris Young, Tyler Farr and Kip Moore are set to play this year as well, plus over a dozen more artists across two stages. Camping and hotel rooms are available, plus some of the best festival food in America. It promises to be an electric weekend in central New York.
