'Tis the season to be jolly ... and to see some adorable photos of your favorite country stars enjoying the Christmas season and spreading holiday cheer.
The Band Perry helped celebrate the holidays at Wednesday night's (Dec. 2) annual Rockefeller Center tree lighting, performing "Santa Claus Is Comin' to Town."
It costs over $2 million per day to run St. Jude Children's Research Hospital -- an astronomical number made even more significant by the fact that no patient's family ever receives a bill. That's why it's so heartening to see country trio the Band Perry partnering with the hospital for the 2015 St. Jude Thanks and Giving Campaign.
After it was released as a single in June of 2010, "If I Die Young" became a smash hit for the Band Perry. The song, written by Kimberly Perry, climbed to the top of the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart in December, hit No. 1 on the Adult Contemporary chart, was a Top 10 hit on the Adult Top 40 chart (No. 4) and earned a Top 20 spot on both the Mainstream Top 40 and Hot 100 charts as well (No. 12 and No. 14, respectively).
It's been more than two years since the Band Perry have released a new album, so fans are eager to get their hands on a new project. Thankfully, the wait for new music is almost over.
