Sugarland has made the day of one special "Baby Girl." During a tour stop in Minneapolis, Minn., the duo invited 4-year-old cancer patient Avery and her mother Jennifer on stage (watch below). The country duo gave big props to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, which has helped the young fan exceed medical expectations at no cost to her family.

"They have a very special story and a very big thank you to St. Jude," lead singer Jennifer Nettles told the crowd. "Avery, here, is very special and very brave," she added before Avery's mother recalled how at 22 months old, her child was given no more than six months to live.

Almost two years later, Avery danced around the stage, while her mother sang "Baby Girl" with the duo. Now 85-percent cancer-free, Avery and her family are grateful for the donations made to the hospital, as well as the Country Cares campaign of which the radio station KEEY/Minneapolis is a part.
