Tim, Faith & Reba Become Shakespeare Stars

Tim McGraw, Faith Hill and Reba will join an all-star cast of celebrities, organized by Hollywood power couple Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, for the 21st annual Simply Shakespeare Celebrity Reading, which benefits the Shakespeare Center of Los Angeles.

The country superstars will participate in the May 9 reading of the comedic play, 'The Merry Wives of Windsor,' alongside actress Christina Applegate, comedian Eric Idle, actor William Shatner, comedienne Tracey Ullman, actor/comedian Martin Short and several others. Each participant will receive a script, but is encouraged to improvise as well. Tim and Faith are cast as actors, while Reba will serve as the musical guest.

The play will take place in UCLA's Royce Hall at 8:00 PM PT on Monday, May 9. Tickets are on sale now, and may be purchased here.

After her Shakespeare debut, Reba's next scheduled performance is June 11, as part of the CMA Music Fest. Tim is in the middle of his Emotional Traffic tour, while his wife is hard at work on a new album.
