Sara Evans has donated a piece of country music history to the Hard Rock Hotel in Palm Springs, Calif.

During the 2015 Country Music Experience festival, held in late April, Evans donated the outfit she wore on the cover of her Slow Me Down album to the hotel, which was co-hosting the event.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled to add this piece to the Hard Rock Memorabilia Collection and want to thank Sara Evans for her generous donation," says Stan Kantowski, the Palm Springs Hard Rock Hotel's general manager. "We are fortunate and proud to be able to showcase iconic memorabilia from such great artists like Sara and many more in our hotel.”

Slow Me Down, Evans' seventh studio record, was released in March of 2014; the cover was shot in Pacific Palisades, Calif., by Robert Ascroft and features Evans striking a pose in front of an image of a clock. The disc, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Country Albums chart, includes collaborations with Vince Gill, Gavin DeGraw and the Fray's Isaac Slade.

Evans' outfit joins more than 78,000 artifacts from all genres of music history that are being preserved by the Hard Rock Memorabilia Collection.
