Sam Riggs and the Night People are gearing up for the release of their full-length debut album, and they're letting readers of The Boot hear the record early via this exclusive online stream.

Titled 'Outrun the Sun,' the album introduces a genuine new writing talent to the country music mainstream. Riggs was mentored by Texas music icon Ray Wylie Hubbard, who believes Riggs is poised to be the next big thing in country music.

"Sam Riggs wears a legacy of honest country, makes good rock, writes lyrics that matter and straps on a stage presence second to none," Hubbard states.

'Outrun the Sun' is due on Oct. 29 from Nashville-based Vision Entertainment, but it is already garnering critical acclaim, with features emerging from such national media as Country Weekly, Texas Music Monthly, and Billboard's the 615.

Fans are already taking notice, too; the video for the lead single, 'When the Lights Go Out,' recently reached No. 1 in the fan-voted CMT Pure 12-Pack.

Check out the album in its entirety below. 'Outrun the Sun' is currently available for pre-order.
