Reba’s ‘Gone’ Straight to the Top

Reba McEntireReba McEntire is on top of the country song charts for the 34th time in her illustrious career. The country icon’s latest single, ‘Consider Me Gone,’ hit No. 1 this week on both the Billboard Country Songs Chart and the USA Today/Country Aircheck chart. .

“My Valory Music Company family gave me the best Christmas gift ever — a number one record!” Reba gushes. “‘Consider Me Gone’ is a great song, and I’m just proud to be a part of it. 2009 has been great. Thirty-four No. 1s are great. And, I feel like we are just getting started!”

‘Gone’ is Reba’s second single off her critically-acclaimed album, ‘Keep on Loving You.’ Its reign at the top of the charts expands her run of No. 1 hits to 26 years. Reba’s first chart-topper, ‘Can’t Even Get the Blues,’ hit No. 1 in Jan. 1983.

Reba can be seen on Faith Hill‘s CBS television special, ‘Home for the Holidays,’ tomorrow (Dec. 23) at 8:00 PM ET.
