Randy Houser has found another label home. The 'Boots On' singer announced last night (Nov. 8) that he has joined independent label, Stoney Creek Records.

The newly-married tunesmith has been working on a new album for the last several months, but he says he isn't in a hurry to finish. "I'm not going to rush myself into anything right now. I'm laying back and just seeing what happens," he tells The Boot. "But I am constantly writing for the new record."

Randy's previous label homes include Universal South and Show Dog-Universal. The Mississippi native's new Stoney Creek family includes Thompson Square, Ash Bowers, Crossin Dixon and Parmalee.

The 34-year-old will play a benefit show on Saturday, November 12, in Philadelphia, Miss. for his former teacher, Thomas Carson, who is battling esophageal cancer. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased by calling (601-635-6353).
