RaeLynn returned to "The Voice" Tuesday night (Dec. 11) to debut her very first radio single, "Boyfriend." (Watch below.) It was a performance that drew a standing ovation from her former "Voice" coach, Blake Shelton, with whom the petite beauty has remained close friends. So close, in fact, that the reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year somehow feels entitled to invade RaeLynn's personal space in a very, very weird way.

"He likes to pick my nose," she reveals to The Boot with a laugh. "He's always randomly putting his finger in my nose or in my ear. It's true; he does it all the time! We have pictures all over Twitter!"

Despite his unsanitary habits, Blake is adored by his singing protégé, who credits his "Voice" success (Blake won Season 2 with teammate Jermaine Paul and is likely to win Season 3) with excellent song choices for his contestants.

"He always gave you the best suggestions," RaeLynn recalls. "He suggested me singing (Jason Aldean's) 'She's Country,' and it was my best seller and my best song on the show. He was very adamant about that song."

Blake's song choices for Season 3 contenders Cassadee Pope and Terry McDermott have certainly proved winners, as well, as the two singers have made the show's Top 3, along with Team CeeLo member Nicholas David.

"I think Cassadee has a great shot," RaeLynn predicts of the Season 3 finale. "But there's just something about Nicholas. He's so original and eccentric. He has a pretty good shot, too. They're all so good! But I want Cassadee or Terry to win, since they're on Team Blake."

Even if Nicholas walks away with "The Voice" title, RaeLynn says Cassadee and Terry have already won. She praises Blake for staying in touch with his contestants from past seasons, even helping them progress their careers, as he has done for her by inviting her on tour and opening doors in Nashville for her. Most of all, Team Blake members have a lifelong friend ... a close friend.

"We always pick each other's nose now, every time we see each other," RaeLynn laughs. "It's a tradition."
