Country duo Grits & Glamour are celebrating the release of their latest single, ‘I Am a Woman,’ off their album ‘Dos Divas.’ The song is an anthem of feminine strength from the duo, made up of Pam Tillis and Lorrie Morgan.

The tune was penned by Grits & Glamour band member Mary Sue England and writer Thom Shephard.

“When we heard ‘I Am A Woman’ for the first time, Pam and I knew it had to be on our new album; it’s one of those songs that captures life moments and the unspoken sentiment and emotions shared by every female -- simple or complex,” Morgan says in a press release

Tillis and Morgan are both members of the Grand Ole Opry, and will be performing the song at the upcoming ‘Opry Goes Pink’ show on Oct. 22 in support of breast cancer awareness.

“We have no words to express our personal honor and privilege to be included in this event -- to step onto the historic Opry stage on such an important occasion to perform such a powerful song -- empowering women,” Tillis says.

Also performing for the ‘Opry Goes Pink’ show are LeAnn Rimes, Amy Grant and Mandisa. They will perform in front of the legendary barn backdrop at the Opry, which will be turned pink for the event.
