The O’Connor Band With Mark O’Connor took home a Best Bluegrass Album Grammys trophy on Sunday (Feb. 12), for the album Coming Home. The honor was handed out during the Premiere Ceremony, which streamed online before the televised awards show.

Made up of iconic fiddler Mark O'Connor, his wife Maggie O'Connor, son Forrest O'Connor, daughter-in-law Kate Lee, Joe Smart and Geoff Saunders, the O'Connor Band is truly a family affair -- and Mark O'Connor made sure to thank his family during the acceptance speech.

"I want to especially thank my family, who's in this band," he said, before handing the mic over to his son Forrest, who thanked the group's label and producer. Lee made sure to thank Mark "for putting this family group together.

"We are so thankful for this," she added.

O'Connor's wife wrapped things up, saying, "We are so proud of everybody in this band ... this and marrying my husband are the greatest honors of my life, so thank you."

Other commendable nominees in the Best Bluegrass Album category at the 2017 Grammy Awards included Blue HighwayDoyle Lawson & Quicksilver, Laurie Lewis & the Right Hands and Claire Lynch.
