The Oak Ridge Boys have announced a new partnership for their upcoming Christmas Time's a-Comin' Tour. The Grammy-winning country and gospel legends will team with Compassion International for the tour, which kicks off Nov. 12 in Branson, Mo.

“Over the course of our career we have worked with many children's relief organizations, but never have we seen a more positive response from our fans than we are seeing with Compassion International,” says Oaks singer Joe Bonsall.

“I believe that folks are moved by Compassion International’s Christ-centered approach to feeding and educating needy kids around the world -- and their amazing success rate, which is impressive!" he adds. "When folks sign up to help a hungry child there is a huge chance that that child will rise out of poverty and make a difference in the world. This is why we are excited and blessed to be working with this stellar organization.”

This year's holiday trek marks the 24th anniversary of the Oaks' Christmas tour. They will also celebrate their 40th anniversary as a group while they are on the road.

Last year they released 'Christmas Time's a-Comin',' their sixth holiday album. It is now available at Cracker Barrel locations with two bonus tracks. The legendary group also recently became members of the Grand Ole Opry.
