Natalie Stovall and the Drive are entering the country music scene with the release of their first single, 'Baby Come on With It,' off the band's recent self-titled EP from HitShop Records.

The Nashville-based band is led by Stovall, a fiddle player who made her debut on the Grand Ole Opry when she was just 12 years old. Her vocals are backed by the Drive, made up of Miguel Cancino on guitar, Zach Morse on bass, guitarist and vocalist Joel Dormer, and drummer James Bavendam, who Stovall met in college.

"When we met I told him that I was a country singer and he said, 'Oh! I'm a country drummer!'" Stovall, who hails from Tennessee, says in the video above. "One night in the dorm room he just said 'Well, why don't you have your own band?' and I thought 'Man, why don't I have my own band?' And so we put a band together and played a whole lot of gigs."

After graduating from college and moving back to Nashville, Stovall and Bavendam began working on putting together the rest of the band, using Craigslist and referrals from friends.

"We kind of all found that right combination of personalities, and I think that's one of the reasons that this band works so well together," Stovall explains.

Stovall has toured all over the world playing college campuses, clubs and military bases and no matter the size of the crowd, she says she plays like there are 15,000 people listening.

"I'm always in an arena in my own head," she says. "The reason that we get to play 200 shows a year is because of our fans. They keep coming back to shows and keep asking us to play and the more that they give to us, the more that we give back to them. It's this beautiful cycle of gratitude."

'Baby Come on With It' and the band's entire EP are available for purchase on iTunes.
