Great news, Nashies: Nashville will be back for a sixth season! CMT announced the big news on Monday (April 10).

Charles Esten, who plays Deacon Claybourne on Nashville, delivered the exciting news about Season 6 live on Facebook, from the TV show's set. Hayden Panettiere, who plays Juliette Barnes, as well as a number of Nashville's cast and crew members make an appearance in the Facebook Live announcement, which readers can watch above.

“We’re so grateful to everybody who made this happen,” Esten says. “We’re very grateful to keep making these shows for you.”

Additionally, CMT has announced that Season 5 of Nashville will resume on June 1, at 9PM ET. According to showrunner Marshall Herskovitz, the action will pick back up 10 weeks following everything that occurred during the show's Season 5 mid-season finale in early March. CMT picked up Nashville for its fifth season after ABC canceled the TV drama following Season 4, in 2016. Since its Season 5 mid-season finale, Rachel Bilson and Kaitlin Doubleday have joined the show's cast.
