Vote for the Most Anticipated Album of September 2017

September will be a busy month for new country music in 2017: Thirteen artists’ albums are in the running for the Album of the Month title for September 2017 — and it’s up to The Boot’s readers to determine which record will win.

The first Friday of September, Sept. 1, is quiet in terms of new music releases, but on Sept. 8, five big names will debut new projects: Kip Moore ‘s third studio album, Slowheart, is due out on Sept. 8, as are Thomas Rhett‘s highly anticipated third album, Life Changes, and Dustin Lynch‘s third album, Current MoodGregg Allman‘s final album, Southern Blood, will be released posthumously on Sept. 8, and Toby Keith will roll out a new, slightly NSFW collection titled The Bus Songs then as well.

The following Friday, Sept. 15, Big & Rich will share their new record, Did It for the Party. Then, on Sept. 22, Chris Janson (Everybody), Steve Martin and the Steep Canyon Rangers (The Long-Awaited Album) and Midland (On the Rocks) will all release new records.

September 2017’s final new country music comes on Sept. 29: That’s the date on which Shania Twain will release Now, her first new album in 15 years, and Chase Rice will release a new album, Lambs & Lions. Also on that date, Little Feather — a band made up partially of Liz Sharpe, who is related to Loretta Lynn and Patty Loveless, and Glen Campbell‘s son Shannon — will release their major-label debut, Little Feather, and Dolly Parton will share her first-ever children’s album, I Believe in You.

Which of September 2017’s new releases should be named The Boot’s September 2017 Album of the Month? Vote for your pick in the poll below; you can vote as often as once per hour through the end of the month (Aug. 31 at 11:59PM ET). The record with the most votes will be named Album of the Month.
